There are some VERY good substitutions to be made from that ol’ church song that goes,

“And He will raise you up, on eagles’ wings
Bear you on the breath of dawn
Make you to shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of His hand.”

It’s actually more like “raaaaaiiiise you up on eeeeeeagles wings,” you remember!

Tyson and I were singing it the other day. Lots of wings to be had–beagles’ wings, weevils’ wings, the list goes ON.

“And He will raise you up, on beavers’ wings
Fill your paws with chocomutts….”

Now THAT’S the kind of He that I’m talkin’ bout!
